The Festival opens at 11:00 a.m, and the music goes from 12:30p.m. until 11p.m.:

All the nightly dances AND the Roots Heritage Festival are open to the public.
$5 will get you in to a nightly dance, or to the day-long Heritage Festival. (If
you are a member of Friends of Louisiana Folk Roots, admission to the dances and
the Heritage Festival is free!)
All of this awesome music is in addition to the line-up of classes. And
instructors at the Dewey Balfa Cajun and Creole Heritage Week.
Full-time instructors are Kenny Alleman, Al Berard, Jeffery Broussard, Jonno
Frishberg, David Greely, Chef Terryl Jackson, Dirk Powell, Lisa Reed, Steve
Riley, Ann Savoy, Joel Savoy, Jane Vidrine, and the newest member of the
full-time staff, CEDRIC WATSON, who'll be teaching Creole Fiddle.
And there's an amazing array of afternoon workshops all week for Those of you
who can't attend the DBCCHW full-time. Please check the Louisiana Folk Roots
