Please note: The animal from which this skin came was placed on the endangered species list in the late 70s. It was perfectly legal to sell and or possess products made from these skins until this act was put into effect. Now it is still legal to won own products made from these hides, but they cannot be sold legally without documentation and permission from the Secretary of Interior, and the Secretary of Commerce, neither of whom will respond to my inquiries! If someone wishes to possess one of the items made from these skins, they must come by and visit and we should be able to "gift" them to an appropriate establishment or individual for personal use! This bag was made in the 60s!

Sea Turtles were placed on the endangered Species list in the 70s, Tag on the inside, tucked under the frame, authenticates & identifies the material as Genuine Sea Turtle hide or skin. The bag is in great condition with some evidence of wear, though it is still in excellent condition! This page is purely for information and viewing. The ESA-of1973 bans the sale and transportation of items made from the hides of animals on the Endangered Species Act of 1973.
So until I hear back from the Secretaries of Interior & Commerce, I will not be able to offer these for sale. However, they are nice to look at!
