Cajun Dance - Beginning $41/62 Section 1: Tuesday, August 28, Sept. 4, 11, 18, 25 7 - 9pm, 332 Union (Atchafalaya Room) Section 2: Tuesday, Oct. 2, 9, 23, Thursday, 25, Tue, 30 7 - 9pm, 332 Union (Atchafalaya Room) Cajun Dance - Intermediate Roland Doucet In this fun class, we will be going beyond the beginning level of the Cajun waltz, two-step and jitterbug. We will briefly review a few basics and then proceed with a variety of turns and spins. Learn to master a true classic! No partners needed. Students may only attend class during section for which they are registered. No substituting classes. You must have taken Cajun Dance Beginning to enroll in this class. REGISTRATION INFORMATION Register by phone, mail, walk-in, fax or online. Payment may be made by MasterCard, Visa, American Express, personal check or cash. Register for Leisure Classes in Union, Room 310 from 8:00 am-4:30 pm. Phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in registration must be accompanied by a $1.00 handling charge for a return mail receipt. You will receive your receipt, supply list, and agenda (if applicable) by mail prior to the first class meeting. If the course has been filled at the time the registration form and fee are received, payment will be returned. Incomplete application forms will be returned. Enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope for return of receipt. Save Money on Classes: Become an LSU Student Union Member. If you plan to take more than one Leisure Class per year, save money by becoming an LSU Student Union Member for $40 a year per family. Members also receive discounts and advanced tickets for Union sponsored events in the LSU Student Union Theater and the Union Colonnade. Membership entitles you to information about upcoming Student Union events and the PREVIEW newsletter. A registration form is included in the class application below. Your $40 payment may be included in the same check you write for classes. Class Price Explanation The first price listed is the discounted class fee offered to LSU students and Union Members. The second price is the fee for all others. Please have your LSU student ID or Union membership card number when you register for classes at the discounted prices. Maximum Enrollment Policy Due to the popularity of classes, instructors may not accept unregistered participants. All participants must be registered through the Union Program Office prior to the first class meeting. Maximum enrollment numbers will not be exceeded. Parking
A parking permit, (hang tag) valid after
4:30 Monday Friday, is available at registration. This parking permit is
not available to part time / full time LSU students, LSU faculty or staff.
One permit will be issued per class member. Lost parking permits will be
replaced for an $11.00 fee. Some classes are not held on campus and will
not be issued a hang tag.
If the University closes due to emergency
weather conditions, Leisure Class students should call our office at (225)
578-5118 to confirm the status of classes.
The LSU Student Union does not necessarily
endorse the content of the classes. The views presented are those of the
individual instructors. If you are in need of special Cancellation Policy Due to the popularity of the Leisure Classes, no refunds will be given unless the course is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. Unfortunately, no exceptions can be made and class substitutions will not be allowed. In addition, Union Membership is non-refundable.
